Recognition

The Kappa Sigma chapter of Phi Mu has been recognized in many ways throughout this past year. Below are a few highlights of some amazing awards and titles that Phi Mu and our sisters hold.

In January 2024, we attended the Greek Awards Ball hosted by JSU. We were honored to receive 4 awards that consisted of Highest GPA, Highest New Member GPA, Philanthropy and Service Award, and were a Diamond Chapter Recipient. Several of our sisters also received individual awards to highlight their hard work. Emily Anne Trebus was named Panhellenic New Member of the Year. Our previous president, Macie Beecham, was named 2023 Chapter President of the Year.

-Our sister Lily Vernon was named the 2023 Miss JSU! She has been working so hard to serve the community around us and we are so proud of her. We can't wait to cheer her on at Miss Alabama this summer.

-In April 2023, our sister Anna Grace England was named Miss War of The Roses. This was a Philanthropy event hosted by Pi Kappa Phi to raise money. It is an annual pageant for sororities and she danced beautifully! We are so proud of her and how well she represents Phi Mu.

-In April 2023, our President and Pan Delegate had the amazing opportunity to attend the Annual Cockies Award Ceremony hosted by JSU. We were honored to receive the Jax State Ambassador Award. This award is for an organization who is the face of JSU. Thank you to JSU and other organizations for voting us for this award.

-We have the honor of having the Highest GPA out of all Greek Life for the 22/23 school year! Each of our girls have worked so hard to achieve good grades and we are so proud of them!
